mom brought over those weird snake things that you light and they grow... the kids were loving them...
on the 10th david turned one month! at one month he was weighing in at 8.5 pounds and 21 inches so he had grown quite a bit in that month... poor guy also lost more hair on top... haha hopefully it starts coming in soon.
here's the two boys side by side... daniel was definitely a hairy little guy... but david has the prettiest skin. so soft and smooth and milky white...
love these moments when he says he's not tired and then he passes out on the couch...
this is him joining me on the bed while i nurse david... and he's nursing his puppy haha!!
he sat like this in this chair for a long time watching a show on his little phone... just didn't seem that comfortable.
having deep conversations with daivd.... david always looks right at him when he starts talking.
this is daniels car for the day... puppy is in the back seat while daniel drives.
i was taking selfies with david and daniel ran over an joined us. my favorite is he also added lightening mcqueen to my hair...
it started raining one day so chris and daniel ran out and jumped on the trampoline during the storm. they had a blast out there...
i'm really loving this 3 year old stage of life... its so fun and hilarious the ways he plays and entertains himself...
he's still being so cute with his little brother too. asks about once a day to hold the baby. or he lays next to him and talks to him....
at the end of the month jeff and stevie and girls came to visit for 2 days on their way to reno. we went to a splash pad at the park near by and had pizza one night... and of course lots of love on baby david...
cute to see both boys cuddling with their dad at church...
this is what we call the ricky fowler look.... also known as the Popsicle... he's a golfer that is famous for his style in clothing...
this is our little old man... haha he has nice big eyes and a cute tiny face... with no hair haha
this is our creepy view in the video monitor... little glowing eyes...
emily started calling our baby vicini... which is a character from princess bride... she said when daivd cried he looked just like this guy ... so i found this pic online... and yep... he's a little vicini baby...
but he sure s cute and sleep when he's sleeping.
at the end of the month chris flew out to portland, or for an IV sedation course for 2 weeks... i asked my sister to take me out of town for a little bit during that time. so she got on her time share website and booked us some rooms in sedona arizona for a couple days. so emily and amanda, and our friend megan and my two boys loaded up in my van and spent a couple really nice days down there.. we shopped a little, hung out at the hotel pool, bought chocolate, went to flagstaff to black barts for a fun dinner and show... and one hilarious day out by a creek and national park... watching us try to cross this super slippery creek with david strapped to me holding daniels hand while emily holds daniels other hand and amanda's. amanda started to lose her sandal and freaking out about slipping and then daniel started jumping and swinging since we were both holding his hands... haha stinker... it was seriuosly scary for a minute... i didn't want to fall with my newborn and didn't want my super pregnant sister to slip either. luckily we made it across and had amazing views of cathedral rock and and nice weather... and luckily daniel is still awesome in cars and david slept pretty much the whole way home...
daniel and i sharing a chocolate covered pretzel and baby david was snuggled in his wrap...
they had a little critter show at the hotel and amanda got to hold a scorpion, tarantula, and snake... so gross!
afterwords she and daniel played at the little park at the hotel... had fun with this giant chess set and the jungle gym.
we also went to the mall while we were in flagstaff daniel had a good time sitting on the little riding machines and in the play area...
here is the creek and amazing view of cathedral rock.
it was really nice of my sister to take me down there since she had already been to sedona twice this summer... but i'm glad she did. we had a nice trip and it killed some time from when chris would be gone..
