Family Pics 2015...

this was our first time ever actually paying to have family pics done and i was so excited... our photographer is an awesome friend in the ward and i had seen lots of her work from my sister and brother's family pics and from various members of the ward who she had also photographed... so i knew she was awesome... and she really was.  the best part is she had no problem dealing with a stubborn 3 year old.  she was able to get some really beautiful pictures. it was really difficult for me to chose just a handful to share cause i love so many.  it was really tough deciding which ones to print to put on our wall at home, thanks again amy!!

halloween time...

this year we celebrated halloween a couple different times.  to start off we went to our own ward's trunk-or-treat.  daniel dressed in his dalmation costume and david wore his mummy costume.  daniel just wanted to run around the church the whole time.  but we did finally convince him to put on the dog costume for a minute to trunk or treat a little...

the next week we went to trunk or treat with chris' office staff and their ward.  it was really fun.  they had chili, carnival games, and then trunk or treat.  daniel didn't have interest in getting more candy.  he just wanted to run around.  david looked super cute dressed in a little cow costume.

the night before halloween my cousins had a big party at april's house.  amy made this brain looking cake and april made meatloaf hands.... i made kitty litter poop fudge.  and other treats.  it was a fun night... daniel had a blast just running around the house and backyard all night.

then halloween night we had all my family over for a party at our house.  my neighborhood is famous for crazy halloweens... decorations galore... extreme even... tons of people... like 500+ trick or treaters... we had all my family over.  we started with soups and bread. the kids had a blast on the trampoline.  chris strung christmas lights around the top.  they jumped a ton throughout the night.  

all our little babies looked super cute too.... 4 babies in 5 months... pretty crazy...

john next door gave him this huge candy bar and thats all he wanted the rest of the night so we quit early...

chris and dad passed out candy all night... just sat at the edge of the driveway and passed out one to each person that came by.  seriously went through a ton of candy.

daniel eventually got naked and just played with his golf clubs in the bushes... in just his nighttime diaper... yep   we are awesome like that...

it was a really fun halloween.... glad we got to experience this neighborhood and it definitely lived up to the hype of its craziness... 

big things happened this month...

october flew by.... so many awesome things happened this month!! to start off... chris' boss matt (the owner of the practice) came back into town the end of last month and said i'm selling to you its yours november 1st... what?!  so we worked like crazy (mostly chris and his office) to get everything ready for the transfer of ownership.  the very last week of this month they signed the papers, we paid them, and they turned over the keys.... its official!!! and scary... and awesome!! chris is very excited and has so many plans for how he wants the future of this office to go.  i'm excited for him and have every faith that he will be successful.

David turned 4 months on the 10th.  at 4 months he is now rolling from back to front.. and occasionally front to back... but mostly the other way and he gets really mad sometimes when hes stuck.  The worst is at night he will roll over and just scream till we come and flip him back over.

His eyes are very blue... his hair is light golden color and coming in more all the time.  His skin is very fair like his mamma... he is a happy baby and smiles easily.  We can even coax laughs out of him every once and a while.  We finally figured out who he looks like... even though he has his moms coloring, his face really looks like his daddy... and nothing like daniel (who looks more like his moms side of the family).

we tried out food for the first time this month.  he was not a fan of the rice cereal, but we sure cute trying to eat it.

daniel is still my naked boy... he will put on clothes to leave the house but the second we walk in the door he is stripping down to undies... no matter the weather... haha.  here we are enjoying some nice weather so daniel is running around naked all the time.  he will put on clothes to go out on errands and school but if he's ever home he's stripped down to his undies.

we brought home a friend philip with us from preschool.  they had a good time running around and playing all over... cute boys

i had a really fun girls night with church friends... we just got dinner but had a really good time sitting around and chatting.  

this was the sky on the way home from preschool the other day... just a gorgeous view of the mountains near us. 

in other exciting news emily had her baby.  this is andrew don meyer!  he's a sweet tiny thing.  he came in at 6 pounds 13 ounces.  so far kinda has dark hair but it looks like its lightening already.  he's a sweet little thing and the family is really enjoying him so far.

i had fun taking some newborn shots of him.  he's a sweet tiny thing who is strong and likes to hold up his own head.
