February was a good busy month! we started off with a visit from Grandma Susan... daniel was very excited for her to come and stay in her room at our house. even when she's not here the guest room is grandma susan's room. she came just in time for daniel's birthday party with my family! his birthday was on a thursday this year so he woke up to a new lightening mcqueen bike with attached tool box and a new bed for puppy as puppy is no longer allowed to leave his room, thought it would be nice to have a place for him to stay.
he also got his favorite breakfast waffles and whipped cream... yum!!
after he got dressed and ready for school i let him ride his bike for a minute.... normally he has to wear a helmet but i just did his hair so instead i stayed right next to him... haha he also took cosmic brownies to school to share with his friends for his birthday.
then that saturday we had all my family and grandma susan come over for the little party. we had pizza and brownies and ice cream and whip cream....
the kids had a lot of fun on the trampoline they played out there most of the night... daniel is wearing his paw patrol pajamas to the party as i had hung up paw patrol decorations and he thought he needed to match the party haha.
i also found silly paw patrol party favors and masks... they had fun playing with these while daniel opened his presents.
This month david turned 8 months old!! he's getting so big and sleeping better at night and is so busy... wanting to climb up all the stairs so we pulled out our baby gate for the big stairs.... he's also much better at eating and will open his mouth willingly for you to feed him. he's a happy llittle guy who smiles at everyone.... he also has constant bruises on his forehead from being so fair skinned and constantly falling down....
they are the same size and build but look so very different....
we had some very cold days at school this month... this day even snowed a little....
daniel is a rockstar at going potty... even number 2... and now he likes to sit and read a book while he goes... hahaha
he also seriously loves his daddy.... wants to do everything just like him and always be right by his side anytime he is home...
he's also recently gotten into drawing... here are his bikes and cars... i'm super impressed with his skills!!
david loves to stand up in his crib and look right at the baby monitor... totally creepy baby....
here he is trying to go up the stairs... until i caught him and took a pic quick before getting him down...
this some how turned into the messiest feeding ever... he kept hitting the spoon and it went flying and then he rubbed it all over everything!
he also rode a swing for the first time... and loved it... both had a good time swinging together and laughing as they passed one another.
they are playing together more and more all the time... they just sit and laugh at nothing.

costco and sams club are the best for having these two seater baskets... wish all stores had them!!!
when its nice enough we love to go for walks in the stroller and head over to the neighborhood park.
we took one of chris' thursdays off and headed up the mountain to the visitor center to walk around a bit and have a little picnic lunch. After we got off the mountain we decided to stop at the library and get new cards since moving back to vegas and to get a few books for daniel... we then stopped at a little park near our house we had never been to but drive by all the time... daniel even went down the big slide.... he's getting braver all the time. david and i sat on a blanket and tried to keep him from crawling off into the nasty bird poop all over...
emily often has me take pictures of baby andy... this was him in his blessing outfit... and of course daniel wanted in on the action...
the end of february we had a blue and gold carnival for cub scouts... our boys did a plinko board game and a photo booth... there was also clown tricycle racing and ring toss. and a basketball toss game... it was a fun day!
Chris was also super busy this month with the business, which is going well and he's really enjoying all that he's doing. we didn't do anything special for leap day.... but it is fun that this day comes around every 4 years... in my 5 year journal i had no entries... this was the first time i got to write on that day.... made it special :) haha
