march march march...

march started out pretty rough... daniel woke the day after we got home from the pinetop trip with a terrible high fever.  he was just lying on the floor moaning and crying... he even seemed a little delirious.   it was tough to get him to take any medicine... i somehow was finally able to get it in him and he perked right up soon after.  the poor kid ended up having a high fever off and on the next couple days.  and once that ended he just has the worst runny nose... so gross...

that weekend chris went up to phoenix for an ismile yearly planning meeting.  he said it was pretty interesting what they had to say.  lots of encouraging speeches and what not to motivate the staff... at home daniel and i had a good day.  i worked on my moms quilt, daniel slept in till 10 am... this week i also had another ultrasound.. this baby is super active.  tough to get good shots of cause he constantly moves...

here i am at 25 weeks...

we decided daniel seemed ready to start potty training.  day one was great! he had zero accidents and even went number 2... yay!  day two was great as far as peeing... but number 2 became a no go... and ended up on my bedroom floor instead... gross!!! the next day he went number two on his bedroom floor!!! after that i decided it was time to put on undies... so it wouldn't end up on the floor... it was really tough to convince him to put them on until he found the buzz lightyear pair... and then thats all he would put on... i had to wash them everyday cause he only wanted buzz! haha!

Chris ran in a 12 mile tough mudder with jeff.  they had a miserable good time.  there's running through mud... obstacle courses... etc.  chris was worn out by the end... running with mud in his shoes was tough.  glad he did it but he probably wont do it again.

daniel does this hilarious thing where he runs to his bedroom window to watch us drive away in our cars... this one day i thought his little face watching me in the dark was so creepy and funny... and chris thought it was hilarious he was doing it naked... we both unknowingly took the same picture from different views and sent them to each other...

daniel also likes to ride in the car in total safety... haha

hes such a funny kid... has all sorts of funny quirks and games he likes to play...

I finished my moms quilt top... its beautiful.  oh man.  it was my first paper piecing project and project it was... but so fun and i learned a ton.  we are now having it professionally quilted. 

chris ended up getting the stomach flu mid march... which then passed onto daniel... i was sure i was going to get it so i postponed my trip to vegas by 2 days... it never came... so we flew out to vegas and the next day i went to see newsies with all the girls in my family... so fun!!!!! halfway through the show i started feeling super sick... by the end of the evening the stomach flu had finally hit me... never fun to be sick while pregnant... and bith pregnancies so far... chris has given me the stomach flu... ha!

while in vegas we met up with one of my favorite friends... and her son ben. we went to the springs preserve and walked around looked at all the displays and had story time... daniels favorite part was playing with the drinking fountain and this little spinning thing... ha! 

the next day chris flew in... just for the a couple hours... he and i went and met matt peers... a potential dental office for us to buy in vegas,,, beautiful office... with lots of potential and matt is eager to sell because he has another dental office in hawaii that he started and he and his family are ready to move to hawaii permanently.  we then took chris back to the airport to fly home... thank goodness for free flights... 

i got my hair done by my awesome friend jessica... we decided to do a red ombre this time... so its dark on top and fades to lighter... i really like it and will be easier to maintain then solid red.

daniel enjoyed lots of playtime with axel... those two are so funny.. and really love each other! they play so well together.

he also took a noasty spill one day and face planted on moms hardwood floor... big fat lip and lots of tears...

he and chris also enjoyed playing with some star wars toys from our childhood... pretty funny.

february 2015....

we started off february with daniel turning 3!!!! woo hoo... he got doughnuts and chocolate milk for breakfast and chris got him a giant firetruck balloon at the grocery store... which lasted pretty much until we moved months later.... so fun! (not!)  he also got a few presents from us.  a package of little soft balls.... an airplane lego set... an airplane from the movie planes... and Buzz Lightyear!!!! after this day anytime he played with the airplane he also had buzz right there with it... they are now considered a pair.   we met up with some friends at the park for a little play date and then that night jeff and stevie and the girls came over and we sang happy birthday and blew out candles and had cupcakes... it was a good day to be three!

this month we also found out we are having another BOY!!!!! woo hoo!!! here i am at 20 weeks... looking pretty good having hardly gained any weight so far.. and the baby's ultra sound... he was of course very wiggly and was transverse so he was a little tough to get very good pics of... stinker...

the rest of the month was spent in typical fashion... i worked on moms quilt... daniel played a lot on his own and always ended up with no clothes on... i finally fixed his rocking horse that was missing a spring and he's been having fun on that.  i ended up getting another dang cold.  chris went golfing with jeff a couple times... they are squeezing in as much as they can before we move.  

the very end of the month we headed up to pinetop with jeff and stevie to a cabin owned by the owner of jeff's company.  it was a four hour drive up a very windy road.  but pretty... forest at the top.  the cabin is on a golf course so the view is fun.  sadly there was not much snow on the ground and it didn't really snow all weekend, but dang it was cold.  we only went out once to a park on the lake... looked out of the dock and then played at the playground there.  it was so cold and windy we didn't stay long.  but daniel of course enjoyed the swings a lot.  chris and jeff taught us the card game eucre that they had learned from their family in michigan.  really fun! chris and i were a pretty awesome team i must say.  the boys did go on one quick sledding trip but it was hald blizzard when they got to the place and was too cold for the kids to stay long.  fun weekend for sure. and a nice way too end the month...

 23 weeks!

and so the new year begins...

I went back to vegas at least once a month for the next couple months until we eventually moved back... we finished off our new years trip with lots and lots of playing with axel... daniel and axel just get along so well... the run and chase each other all over the place. non stop.  its pretty dang cute to watch them together.

While in vegas we also went and toured a couple dental offices that we could possibly purchase,,, the first being this small ish office or it seemed small as in my opinion it had too much crap everywhere... the guy had very gaudy style decor.  but he wanted way too much money for what we wanted to pay. the second one was really nice and huge.  could fit 3 dentists if it wanted to... but his office was in such financial mess and the guy who owns it is in terrible health that he's desperate, but chris isn't super eager to work in a fixer upper project office...

we also had the typical sunday dinner at moms house with everyone but emily's family.  it of course ended with me making no bakes and then having them half eaten before they are even set.... hahaha

we then flew back to tucson....

around this time I got a nasty cold... that went on for the next 2 months and included one nasty sinus infection and zero weight gain for me... pregnancy is awesome... here's me at 17.5 weeks! really popping out and still hadnt gained any weight.

we celebrated our 4th anniversary! go us!  we did our usual fondue night... which we love... i struggled a little as it was difficult to chew being sooooo congested. 

Daniel and i enjoyed our typical lazy.... ish days at home... with him generally not clothed and using several types of media at once... and lots of sleeping in funny positions... and places

i also thought it would be fun to let him play with some rice in a bin.... yeah HUGE mistake.. rice everywhere... we were vacuuming up rice for the next 3 months... especially in the carpet.... it was bad.  lesson learned..

I also started work on this massive quilt for my mom's guest room... which she is calling the beaver cabin room... it has fun memorabilia from grandpa's cabin and now will have this awesome quilt made by me! 

I felt the baby kick for the first time this month... always a fun experience... and a little creepy... alien inside me.  

the end of the month i flew back to vegas to see Joseph and the Amazing technicolor dream coat with mom, emily, jack, laura, meesah, amanda... emily's friend brian from NAU was in it as one of the brothers, so he gave us a tour backstage and we even got to walk out onto the stage... very fun.
